Muuggi is our local Mongolian guide who is deeply passionate about his country, people, culture and way of life and is excited to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with all our guests.

He lives in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia with his wife and son. Originally from Eastern Mongolia which is famous of its endless steppe he grew up riding horses over the steppe in the wilderness where there were hundreds of white tailed gazelles.  

In 1997, he moved to the capital city becoming a little piece of a big migration to the city from countryside to study at school and get a proper education. His first profession was an English teacher but his professional career is in the field of tourism where his passion belongs.

He has been guiding since 2006 and has traveled all over the country and his love for Mongolia grows with every trip. How could it not with wide open land, grass carpeted landscapes, endless blue sky, freely grazing animals and strong existing culture. He is very proud being a small part of this beautiful thing.
